Simon Walburn

I was born in Ripon and, apart from 6 years in Hertfordshire and London, have lived in North Yorkshire all my life.
My wife and I moved to Pilmoor 38 years ago and set up a pig breeding enterprise which we ran for 25 years.
I then spent 10 years with DuPont advising farmers on use of company products.
Now semi-retired I enjoy the peace and quiet of our lovely countryside and believe our environment should be protected.
My wife and I have an ongoing commitment to the community.
Our three children attended the village school and my wife is a school governor.
